Hey guys.. just looking around a bit. I am finding more and more people branding their domains as Word Source! (if they had word.sc)
It looks like whois.sc has branded the whole .sc community? I dont know.. I guess I am going to be different and not reffer to .sc as source. It can stand for tons of things to include:
Science
South Carolina
Security Council
Smart Card
System Controller
Short Cut
Sailing Club
Space Command
and about 1000+ more meanings.
Sorry I just had to get this off my chest.... my mini rant
There are several towns that are still available for registration but before shelling out $100 per domain, I would like some assurance that Seychelles is not going to double the price again next year.

The price-hike on .sc is probably going to send the extension into decline as a speculator/investor's extension. The only was to make owning an .sc worthwhile will be to develop it, and if you're going to develop why not opt for a nicer extension (e.g. .tv?)
With regards to what it could stand for, you can say what you want, but you'll need a whole bunch of people to agree with you for it to stick- as whois.sc got 'source' to stick with some domainers.
I remember a while back a company in the UK was trying to brand it as .Scotland, if I was going to buy a bunch of names try and brand the extension as anything, this would be the option I'd pick...
Any particular reason?
