Hi guys,

Is there an english based registration service for .com.br names with a reasonable price?

Hey Kev, good question. I would like to know this too - especially the "reasonable" price part.

There is a huge opportunity there in .com.br . I am just so busy I have not been able to allocate the time to research the registrar I want to use, much less the domains.

If anyone knows, the advice would be appreciated.

Yeah, its one of these tlds that will generate a lot of traffic.

Ive got about 20 names that I'd like to register, all with decent alexa ranks

I do not know if there is any service in English, but the problem of. Com.br for you is that you must have a CPF (which is an identification document that all people over age must have here in Brazil)

I'm not looking to register .com.br anytime soon but reps added for taking time to do a translation just to help others.

I have been looking into this since this post was first started and there is stages of domain release, so it is not an all-out domain feast just yet, just pre-registrations that last until I believe June 29th. After that its register all you wish time.

BTW, I found a way to get one of those CPF's believe it or not..... its not that hard. It was a stroke of luck that I ran into a American guy that had got one that lived in Brazil for awhile and I now am in the process of getting it. It helps that I have Brazilian friends in the U.S. and Brazil too to help me with it.

CPF is no longer considered an official document, so you should probably find places to register.com.br domains without it now
