Hi!

This thread is dedicated to all the people who have sold their

If anyone who is interested in sharing the details, will create a good knowledge database and make this thread a great place to see how the complete process works.

This may include ,
the starting process - who initiated (buyer / seller)
the price offers / counter offers ( figures are optional or % can be done)
the final settled / sale price (can be given an estimate)
the transfer process and sale completion (domain and amount transfer)
the owner country (completely optional as in most cases, have SLA not to share these details).

Also, if the mail of offer can be shared, will be great for new beginners and experienced domainers / seller as well to initiate.

So, I am lookin forward to see things coming here soon !!!

I guess I'll start...

My only semi-significant sale so far has been PizzaDelivery.in for 175 EUR, or almost $270 USD. I sold it at Sedo. The seller offered 65 EUR. I countered $1,000. I didn't hear back for about a week, so I then re-countered at 175 EUR and the buyer accepted. The entire transaction took over a month from the time he accepted my offer to the time the money went into my account. I wasn't too excited about that, but I hand regged the name 1 month before for $3.93 USD, so it was a good return.

I wasn't sure how to value it, but selling it for that price paid for my 80 or so .in registrations, so I was happy. Plus doing a google.co.in search didn't really turn up much for Pizza Delivery. I just see a Domino's in the top results. I guess I probably should have contacted them about the name and tried to sell it that way first, but I got the offer before I got around to it.
