Marketing advice please.

I have had the idea, I have got the investment, I have got the domain, I have got the website up and running. What I don't have is some feedback on the idea and how to market the products (emails), as I believe it hasn't been done before. So, any advice would be most welcome. Including what price they might sell for.

All is explained at my website:

pricelessmail.com

Thank you very much in advance.

Your site still need more work as
more information
more attractive
it look like a blog page
Sorry but you want my opinion.
Try to see other sites what they do to get more visitors.

Every so often I see an idea & think "Damn, why didn't I think of that first?" this is one of those moments; well done.

You've set the initial auction for Jan 2010 so there's plenty of time for Google et al to index you.

Try and get some incoming links by submitting your site to appropriate directories.

Write a few pages, each one explaining a part of the plan in a little more depth, and with appropriate keywords.

I haven't looked at what you have done with the sites, but make each one a unique retelling of the idea using the word you are selling fairly heavily E.g. on triots.com (and only triots.com) have one or two pages about being a patriots fan & how you can show this by having the name.

As the time for the auction gets close, invest some money in adsense.

Could also be worth setting up a database so people can register an interest in a domain name and be emailed a reminder once the auction starts.

Interesting idea. And for some domains you could have more than one address, like bl@ck.com, s@ck.com, wh@ck.com,...

Uh-oh. Those emails on your site may not be "activated" but I bet they are still going on spam lists now and even though they don't work at this time they will later. Heck, most spammers don't even check when they find them anyway. I'd put them in a graphic image if it were me. :-)

And $25 a year is too much in my opinion just to pay for an email forwardning address. I could be wrong, but when I can register a domain for $8 a year, and a small hosting account for $12 a year (Lacehost.com) I would save $4, have a nice hosting account, and all the emails I want. Of course the average user will not know or care, but some people will.

What I would do is try to lower the annual price, and create a single web page for each domain that will have content (see below) and adsense or affiliate programs. This should help pay for the domains and also provide advertising for your service too...

Ok, free marketing idea that involves SEO: Create one page for each of your email addresses that you are offering. Write 200-600 words on the topic of the email and include as many keyword phrases as you can on the topic. Heck, create just one page and try it to see how it works.
