I want to create a site but am lacking on the tech side of things. How simple is it to implement a new website with free scrips?
Is it self explanatory with little to no coding changes?
So essentially could I just take a free script, pay for hosting, call the host and they walk me through installation, then I am good to go with an active website?
essentially yes, except that the host doesn't usually handle installing your script etc. support for each script is usually managed by whomever create the script, their knowledge base, support forum, community of other users of the script, etc.
installation instructions are should be found on the script/developer's website and/or in a readme file that comes with your download.
