how to sell adds?
ok, i have a pretty good website idea and i have a lot of potential ad buyers in a special niche, BUT how should i contact them... i mean if i could present the site good it would be a nobrainer for them to buy adplace there. But i have never done "business" before... i dont really know how to start to make it appear like a serious company? How about contracts and so on?

if it's a pretty good website you can sell ads thru adtoll.com, adbrite.com or pantheranetwork.com

First and foremost, learn how to spell "Ads" if you want to sell them!

How much can someone get for a link with text on a site with a 3 google rank but little traffic?

Couple bucks depending on the niche, the site design, and its age.

I'm skeptical about adtoll.com's performance, as their footer shows 2004 still....
Could you please elaborate if you have used their services and if so how much did you earn so far.
Thanks

Its best to start small with Adsense and Adbrite, then when you have enough visitors, the companies wanting to advertise will be contacting you!
