| Travel System I was just looking on Yahoo for some stuff because I found someone on myspace that has a automated travel website. I guess its a turn key website I'm not really sure what its classified as exactly. Anyway I just wanted to see if anyone thought these sites were legit or not. Or if anyone has ever tried anything like this before. Heres a few examples of what I'm talking about : Independent Travel Agents KHM Travel Crown Travel World
Again my biggest problem always has been SELLING stuff to people. Have it be actual SELLING (online), SALES (in real life) or Affiliate Programs. It always seems like more of a pain than a pleasurable experience. Alright. Well let me know what your thoughts are on these sites and if its from personal experience, from someone you know, or if your just talking to talk
Thanks

| Ian.com is a good one. About trying I haven't tried it myself due to time issues but Have done a project for one client and he is earning a bit. Don't know exact amount though but last time I heard he was very happy. |

| Hm thanks Nick. Ill check that one out as well. Im sure that travel is something you CAN make money with, after all people travel ALL the time. I just have to wonder if they would rather use a "well known" site more than a site they never heard of before.
WOW its free to me? Thats awesome. The other one I was talking about, crown travel, cost $500 for a one time set up fee and then $49 every month after that. Im gonna try it. Thanks Nick! |

| Yes its free. API's and all is also free. Plus there are many ways to implement the stuff.
Moreover if you search bit harder you will find more programs like ian.com who are giving API access for free |

| and if you're not into .API then you can use their cobranding option http://www.ian.com/ian/signup/examples.jsp
i have 2 domains before that i let expire like romeitaly and londonengland to use ian.com cobranded style but it's not taken off so I dismantle it. |

· #7 | | NamePros Member | I have never had much luck with these travel affiliates, duplicate content I feel plays a part in sites being created just with this info. If you have some other destination information in a site and this affiliate component is part of the whole site it may work for you better. |
