Hello,
I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post but anyway...
How Can I Monetize This Site? http://www.bannedbypass.com
I have adsense on there at the moment, but its not very good at making money. Only get $1 or so every so often.

The site gets over 2000 - 5000 uniques a day usually.
If I was to put a banner on the site, how much would I charge per banner for example?

Any advice is appreciated.

It depends, good banner CPM programs are very hard to find these days. In your case, I would recommend staying with CPC ads as you should be able to get a fair amount of clicks off of 5,000 uniques a day, assuming they are quality users and not generated traffic.

The traffic is not generated, but I'm getting no clicks. I think its because the users just dont see any point in clicking the ads.

Maybe find a related affiliate product you could advertise? Most people using your site will be computer-savvy enough to ignore the Adsense blocks. You want to promote something your visitors will actually find useful.

Firstly i would sort out your website to make it more appealing to users. The basic idea of the website design is good but i would move the bannedbypass logo to the top as its currently in the middle.

I would then move the search bar up to roughly where the bannedbypass is at the moment and move the text higher than that. I would then put google ads below the search bar and move the subscribe button to below the ads.


Now on to possible ways to monetize the website. Probably 80% of your target market will be teens, i would therefore sign up to a referal program with products around the same target market. With 2000-5000 uniques a day the website could make $$ to $$$ a day with the correct affiliates!

I've never really had any luck with AdSense. For non adult domains I woudl go with something like www.pythonmedia.com with their programs like Win Any Lotto or Det Sherlock. These are the type of things that will attract that kind of surfer ... something for nothing programs too like Driving 4 Dollars.

But honestly proxy sites do get a ton of traffic and make very little in return. You really have to focus your ads to the type of people you are attracting.
