Monetization of free hosts
Any suggestions on how to montenize (make $$) off of free hosts? Just curious on some ideas, mostly for a personal project of mine.

I understand you can run your own banner ads on their website, but excluding that, does anyone know any decent techniques to earn money off of hosting websites for free?

Meaning if I created a free hosting service, how could I monetize it?

you should probably offer a paid version alongside to the free version, and/or offer paid services in addition to the free service. ie, a few bucks for seo, directory submission, *special templates*, etc. and of course the most popular way: put ads up on the members' pages (try to make them as less intrusive as possible).

Actually I really like the idea of offering special services such as SEO, scripts, and templates.
