Maximizing revenue through a network of sites

Okay, here's the deal: I've spent 6 months establishing a network of sites via development, site purchases, etc. The network is pretty solid, sits over three servers, and brings in about 28,000 uniques per day between the sites.

I've consistantly made mid $XX per day via Google/Adversal/ValueClick. I want to take a break from buying and developing from scratch and concentrate on maximizing the ad revenue from existing sites.

The fact is, no matter the network's size, I'm still quite new at this. So I'm looking for any advice, opinions, thoughts...anything to guide me in the right direction

For reference, you can visit PalSys.ca as a starting point to see the different sites we have currently.

Thanks very much in advance for the tips. There are more then a few experts in here, and I want to learn.

Chris

PalSys looks to be a very nicely done and well designed site. Looks like an impressive network. How many domains and sites do have in the network to generate the 28,000 uniques? What industry/categories are the sites in?

However, I must say your ppc revenue seems quite low for 28,000 uniques/day. With 28K it's possible to be making closer to mid XXX rather than mid XX (which indicates the traffic has low ppc values).

I suspect you are low because you said on your site FF-Fan.com draws over 15,000 uniques, meaning more than 1/2 is attributable to that site, and the other 1/2 may also be part gaming kind of traffic? If so that is the problem as gaming traffic converts poorly vs many other categories (at least in my experience).

P.S. I never heard of ValueClick before or Adversal, what is that?

You're exactly right. FF-Fan.com makes up about half of those 28,000 uniques. The rest of the sites are scattered over various categories.

ValueClick is the new name for FastClick, and Adversal is a popunder server that I use on the proxified pages of Proxy.tl.

If FF-Fan.com makes up almost half then its obvious to start wotk on that site. I see at the moment you dont use adsence on the forums there, ive had experience and realise that adsence works quite well on forums, have you tried putting them on there?

I just visited ff-fan.com and the first ad i saw was for flowers... Might want to try to make the ads a bit more relevant.

How many gamers buy flowers?
