Managing Clients, Domains and Sites

I am probably similiar to many of you here in regards to e-mail. I have probably 30 different address that are related to my various websites etc.

I have tried many different e-mail clients and different ways of managing these accounts.

Currently I am using Pegasus. I like the interface but it is really still too buggy.

What is the best client to use? What is the best way to deal with many different addresses? I do have many addresses forwarded to other addresses etc but in a way that makes things even more complicated.

I would also like to be more organized with my sites, domains and clients. What do you guys use for software for accounting and how do you keep track of clients etc????

I also have problems keeping track of domain names. I just came accross 6 domains I completly forgot about. I had paid for 3 years on them just about 3 years ago..... lol They could have been doing something this whole time instead of collecting dust. I have tons of names on tons of different hosts so I figure the first thing would be to put them all on one host...

I am thinking about using godaddy as that domain host. What do you guys think??

Also, any tips on organizing in general ???????

Thanks...

the_host is an unknown quantity at this point
Use Thunderbird for email, easy to seperate accounts and keep track of things.

Godaddy is a good domain host, check out this forum for more reviews on other domain registrars.

I appreciate the tips. I have considered thunderbird and it is actually loaded onto my system right now....

The reason I went with pegasus was because of all the filtering options it has and it is an amazing mail client in regards to that.

Actually I am considering going back to Microsoft Outlook..... I like certain features such as easy folder organization etc...

I will give Thunderbird a try.

In regards to a domain host my favorite is buydomains.com. They have the best service department of anywhere. The only reason I can't use them for a large amount of domains is their prices. They are way to high. I think buydomains.com is great if you have one or 2 developed sites. They have all the features you need and they are easy to work with etc...

I like godaddy for multiple because they have a decent interface and low prices.......

Does anyone else have aqny tips on the business aspect of this stuff? Really, I am curious how you guys go about taking care of your domains etc. For those of you that do site work like me. How do you keep track of everything?? Passwords etc??? Money???
