What would be a good slogan or job title?
I came up with: "practical web intelligence" as the slogan; not sure if I like that or not.

I would use all of these, have various cards printed depending on who you are meeting with....maybe even let them choose which card they want you to give them.....after all you are offering custom web solutions.
I would suggest something that targets your potential customer better... "Street Smart" doesn't sing to me as a business owner. A vulnerable Business Owner might feel more comfortable and protected with a more savvy name/campaign.
This site shows maturity and thought. Insight and design are implied. Intelligence and youth without adolescence. It's a difficult balance but attainable.
The slogan is non-descriptive but yet says exactly what the buyer is looking for.
You slogan doesn't have to be fancy or artsy or brilliant... as much as it needs to STICK to your visitor and convey the message you want them to take away.
Looking at your initial post, what I see is that you are offering a "web branding" service. You research and aquire the name, design, market and offer SEO services. This is Branding.
You are dealing with companies that, for the most part, may have other forms of marketing... known as MEDIA
You now you're branding media on the Internet...
Here's one for you... sophisticated yet subtle, has a nice ring, can still be youthful and creative while being mature and reliable...

I didn't mean to put it down... that wasn't my point. It was that "Street Smar" might, MIGHT paint a completely different picture to the perspective buyer than you might think, and a sale is not something easily wasted.
John Travolta in Grease was "Street Smart" while John Travolta in Swordfish is "wise". That's a better analogy.
I've owned several businesses and one thing that is clear is "client perception" is very fragile. Earning big dollars is not left to chance, it's by design.
I was using ubsurdity to emphasis I possibility... I thought the sarcasm would have been more obvious. I apologize. Sincerely.
I also think that is a misnomer... A webmaster these days is NOT a marketing person... just a glorified IT guy. Not that there is anything WRONG with that.
But the point is, it is usually the Marketing Department that dictates to the Webmaster (that guy in the small office in the basement with no windows) what to put on the website. Webmaster is LOW end in terms of decision making capability or marketing prowess.
You'd be better off (but still in the "dorky" department) to say Marketing Master than webmaster.
Stay away from the generic terms and you'll set your company ABOVE the rest, not equal to them.
Again, I don't see you pitching a company to be their "webmaster"... I see you being a media solution. Once you get them set up and running, then you hand the keys over to them to manage. Or am I missing your overall business plan here?
