Hello everyone.
I am quite new to the domain/web development game, however I have an idea that I would like to develop from the domain name Shokujo.com.
I would love to create a world-wide resource for gamers, specialising in role-playing information. I think it could eventually develop into a fantastic guide for new gamers, as well as a community to meet other gamers from around the world. I would also like to sell advertising space for online gaming stores and other worthwile websites.
I do not want this to be a forum, but more of a guide, and a resource for locating gaming groups all around the world. The sort of content I am thinking of include:
Live Role-play groups
Roleplaying, CCG & TCG
Stores information
Game Guides for new players
Eventually an online store/auctions site.
The list is endless. My concern at the moment is that I do not have much money, and I do not have much knowledge as far as HTML/flash is concerned.
What I would like is for someone with a kind heart to design a website & logo for me. I will add all content at a later stage, and once it is complete, I will share profits from advertising for the first 6 months with this person. Once the design is complete, it should only take me 2 weeks at most to get the content, and possibly another 2 weeks to attract the advertisers. I will arrange hosting and advertising, all I need is the site design!
