Get as many links from other sites as you can. Put it into a signature and maybe join some celebrity forums...

Get some good content instead of just advertisements and you'll see some better results from people adding your links elsewhere without your having to ask them to, and you'll get search engine results also.

I would not suggest just adding "Vioxx" content for many reasons.
1) If it's just boilerplate content, it's not going to get you any visitors as there are many other sites out there with it.
2) If you don't know anything about Vioxx, how will you contribute or get people interested in it?
3) Choose something that you are interested in that you can write about.
4) Just adding content isn't good enough, it needs to be good content.
Just copying someone else's content is plagerism (at least) and is generally frowned upon.

I assume you're using index.html
To make the google bot come more quickly you can rename to index.shtml and it may come right away.

Why would you make it so that you have to register to read the jokes on your site? To me, that's flat out crazy. I have never seen a joke site where you have to register before you can read jokes. I'd reccomend taking that off

For my first time looking at the site, I saw that I had to register to read your jokes and just closed the site out.

I can think of a few good reasons to make folks sign up ...

1) To make them read a FAQ/TOS/Rules (A better idea more and more these days)
2) If there are any jokes adult in nature or possibly considered in bad taste Re: ethnic or race related / Weight Challenged People etc ... You need to warn them and or Redirect as per Age as best as possible ~

I'm not saying majinbuu1023 's site has any of these items - Just a suggested answer to the question asked.

These sites will only bring you traffic clickers,No gain by using the sites above,They will put a lot of hits on your counter,But no positive results.
You need to link trade aswell as promote and advertise.There is no way to get good unique targeted hits without working on it.Consider banner advertising in a forum that caters to jokes,Most free advertising will get you no where,Once you aquire a decent signup,Your site will gain popularity and will begin to prosper,Be patient though,It just takes time.
