Is Affiliate Marketing Legal?

When someone begins internet marketing, their first question may be along the lines of 'is affiliate marketing legal?' Very fair point, and, and this is something that everyone seems to be asking. Because a lot of affiliate/internet marketing seems often too good to be true, then, it's a very fair question to ask. The fact is, like everything there is a degree of illegal activity which goes on in the world of internet marketing. Is affiliate marketing legal will often result in practices which are honest, and not honest.If you are going to be promoting a product via blogs, articles and other legit methods of sticking your products in the faces of others, then you're going to be totally OK. However, if you begin spamming, adding hidden charges to people, then you are going to be breaking the law.

Well its perfectly legal as a company. Many companys don't strongly enforce there policys however they have them therefor not illegal.

Definitely, Affiliate Marketing is legal.
Even the top companies are showing interest in it.

Affiliate marketing is in itself a small scale joint venture with product owners. Where did the thought of it being "illegal" even enter in anyone's mind.

I do affiliate marketing and it has replaced my domain parking income 5 times over.

Affiliate marketing is legal and you will find quite a few people doing it. Even the big sites like Amazon, offer affiliate marketing to its users. Affiliate marketing is just another form of making money online.

affiliate marketing is continuing to grow, definitely a rewarding area if you have the proper mix of knowledge, insight and partnerships.

Hallo! It is a very interesting and curious question - thanks for posting it here! I've been thinking for some time what to advice and have decided that if you pay your taxes regularly from your profit - so why not to consider affiliate business to be legal?

Affiliate marketing is a business model ,there is nothing to do with what programs a person join. If Affiliate marketing is illegal,company like clickbank,Amazon,wont exist.

That's right! If the company is legal then its affiliate program is also legitimate.
You don't worry about it.
Just concentrate on the traffic and conversion, the affiliate network or program will take care of everything.
