| Affiliate Templates / Placements / etc. Hey everyone trying to brush up on my knowledge for affiliate marketing and how to place my banners and such. I have read that it is best to just use one banner as it will increase the profit per click. Is this true? I am also wondering perhaps what your best revenue generating template/designs look like. Anyone have any advice on banner placement. The biggest consensus I seem to see is to use a wide rectangle banner that is blended in with your content. Any other advice out there for an affiliate newb? |

Just tossing up a banner on a page isn't the best way to go about it. It doesn't matter how many people click through, what matters is how many of them complete an action (like make a purchase) once they get there. Why not hop onto a couple of the affiliate forums and read up a bit?
