Question Clickbank payout requirements

Is it true you need at least 5 sales, from at least 2 different credit cards before you can be paid?

as mentioned here:
http://hubpages.com/hub/Clickbank-Pa...w-To-Earn-More

amongst other sites.

or is this policy dated, and no longer a requirement?

If you log onto your account and click the "accounting policy" link you'll find the answer to that and any other question you have about getting paid by Clickbank.

Yes, it's pretty ridiculous in my opinion.

I've stopped actively promoting Clickbank because their accounting policies are moronic.

* Sales made with 5 or more different credit card numbers; and,
* Sales made with two different payment methods (either Visa, MasterCard, or PayPal). Note: PayPal purchases do not count toward the minimum 5 different credit card numbers.

This requirement is in place to help prevent Affiliates from abusing the ClickBank Affiliate program by using their accounts for the sole purpose of fraudulently collecting rebates and/or discounts on their own purchases.

Once you have met the Customer Distribution Requirement, your account will begin issuing payments normally, in accordance with our Accounting Policy, beginning on the next payment issuing date.

Must admit its not one of clickbanks best policies. They should really look into a better option than this. Luckily i have passed the 5 minimum but fully understand how off putting this must be to any newcomers.

Best wishes

Clickbank also charges monthly fees for inactivity. This can wipe out your earnings if you are not making sales every 90 days.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Accounts with a positive balance but no earnings for an extended period of time are considered dormant. Dormant accounts are subject to a charge of $1 per pay period after 90 days of no earnings, $5 per pay period after 180 days of no earnings, and $15 per pay period after 365 days of no earnings.

that policy is put in place so that new affiliate marketers who manage to earn their first sale would not try to give up halfway. Its pretty nonsensical for that policy to be in place because people newbies would be pissed if they see their couple of sales in their account and are unable to withdraw it. oh well..

I made a $50 sale, but I did not reach 5 sales from a visa and mastercard, and my account balance is down to single digits now, if I don't make a sale soon, I might owe them money lol, what a joke, turned me off from clickbamk totally. Easy money for them though. How many millions they prbly stolen from hard working domainers.

Protect Our Planet
clickbank is the Enron of affiliate programs. If there is a way they can steal your money - they will. Avoid this bottom-feeder at all costs.

I too am having problems with them, but with checks missing (and them not reissuing the checks unless I pay $20 per check)
Here is the thread I posted:
http://www.namepros.com/affiliate-ta...clickbank.html

Thought I would mention it in case anybody finds this thread through google.

Not trying to accuse them, but after reading some of the threads on here and after this, my suspicions are growing.

Not only does ClickBank collect interest on our money but they've found a way to charge us for that privilege with this bogus policy.

Why believing information about clickbank from some third party site? whynot go to clickbank and read their terms of services? you'll get an answer of each and every question you've in your mind.
