I recently looked into joining an affiliate but they limit me on the type of advertising i can do.

my question is: Will i fight an uphill battle to promote this product?

here are there terms:

you will always be terminated for any of the following material breaches:

(a) the use of Google AdWords or Google AdSense;

(b)placing Links to a Your Web site in newsgroups, message boards, unsolicited e-mail and other types of spam, banner networks, counters, chatrooms, guestbooks, IRC channels or through similar Internet resources;

(g) breach of any other intellectual property right provision of this Agreement or other of common law intellectual property rights of Advertiser;

Does all this mean i have to work hard to come up with an advertising campaings?

looks like you need to go for a domain with good type-in traffic or one heavy seo and with lots of serp on google and yahoo.
