Hi everyone,
I would like to get involved with affiliation. I already know of a few sites whom are offering affiliation services for certain online services.
To promote these services, i'm looking at where to start. I noticed some people just building there own somewhat mirror imaged site with links to the affiliated site which generates the revenue. Do some people building websites which offer suggestions of companies for the specific service and link to all of the websites known?
What is usually the most successfull way of buidling affiliation sites? Are there any good articles or free e-books out?
I heard about ppc-coach, its 50 bucks a mth though..what do you think?

| Make a site with content base and on the topic that you are good at.
Then find the affiliate program for it.
This is best way to get started. | |

| it's best for me to create a blog at blogger.com/blogspot.com and then post their ad and alongside it a comment of mine (unique) about the program or what they're offering and post some articles (my own articles) as well so it will not be looked upon as duplicate content.
the best promotion tool for every web site is the search engine so make sure it's unique. | |

my affilate company asks for a website. I like the blogger idea so I don't have to host but I think they're requesting a personal site. Do you think this is the case? Do some affiliations not allow traffic from the free blog sites? Maybe i'll shoot an e-mail to them and ask.. | |

| Hummm it could be. But nowadays getting a personal site is also not an issue after you are already here on NP. 
You can just buy a small hosting plan and it will help you get started. In future you can upgrade it. | |

| there are other sites like squidoo which you can use to create your own personal homepage if you have no budget at all. if you can spare some cash, like Nick said, get a small hosting plan. there are cheap hosting plans you can find here on NP.
