As longs as your link calls for the tracker script, including your affiliate ID, the system should work.

For example if your ID is "bmw"
and tracker script is "click.cgi"
the link should be similar to "click.cgi?userid=bmw "

Now if you change any ob above, the tracker will not recognize the caller.

You can link anything to click.cgi?userid=bmw... text, image, etc... and system will work just fine.

However, this depends on the script itself.
Some scripts are more advanced and include java script trackers, blind image trackers, etc...
The thing that is most important, is the caller script which should include you ID.
