You stated that you bought the rights for that Stock Image in your Logo, well I have prove you didn't. I'm not trying to get on you, but it would be worng to try an sell a product to someone with something you "stole" since it's copyrighted. Look at the prove ...

Is it coinsidence that there are diagnal lines on the Image you "bought rights from" and in the Preview of the Image in the Site before selling it for copyright purposes? Also, why is the quality so low? Is it maybe cause you copy and pasted? I'm just trying to let you know that taking credit for something you didn't do or paid for is not right. You should re enter intot his contest with an actual Image you've made. That's all i have to say.

Actually I did purchase the image. I do not appreciate you calling me a liar. If you want to login to my account and see that I purchased it, I can show you, since obviously you do not believe me. The reason I used that screen shot is because I do not own a copy of Adobe Illustration and that image is a vector. So I purchased the image and then just used the one that is available, not as a vector (which is the one you can see before purchasing the image). I think this is ridiculous to start calling me, a professional web designer with an official business registered in the state of Pennsylvania, a liar. emadiba, please ignore my post as I am retracting my entry fee into this contest - this is obsurd. OurPortfolio, let me know if you want my account information and I will be MORE THAN HAPPY TO SHOW YOU THAT I PURCHASED THE RIGHT TO THE IMAGE THAT YOU ARE ACCUSING ME OF STEALING. WHY DONT YOU ASK ME INFORMATION BEFORE JUMPING TO CONCLUSIONS? Well, why are there still white diagonal lines on the image that you entered and the image on iStockPhoto? I'm not trying to cause arguments here, just trying to get the bottom of it.

And also, you say you are a professional web design, but, you will get accused of copying in this line of work, get used to it, reacting to these accusations like you just did is not professional and does not create a good image for us on your character.

I told you why there are white lines, it's because I used that exact image that OurPortfolio posted a link to. HOWEVER, AS I CLEARLY STATED ABOVE, I purchased the rights to the image FIRST.

Right, so, you purchased the image, then, you didn't use the image because you didn't have a vector program so, instead, you copied the "watermarked" image from iStockPhoto and used that for the logo which is what you supplied emadiba with?

Hmm ... what was the point in buying the picture if you weren't going to use it? Isn't that just a waste of money?

Well, I don't want to get into a flame war with you, I don't like making enemies. This all just sounds a bit suspicious, but, I suppose, when it all comes down to it, it depends on what emadiba wants and feels is the best entry here ... up to the buyer which one they choose ...

You're right I should've asked you personally first before jumping to a conclusion, but it just seem wierd to me that you would use a copy of the image when you bought the actualone without watermark. See, when I researched on that I didnt know that you didn't have a Vector Program. You should've figured that out too, before puchasing the Image. Also, why not just download a Trial Version of a Vector Program, open the image, re-size to size you want, copy and then paste to your normal Image Editing Software, just a thought. This would prevent the confusion that just happened. I did not mean to call you a liar, but you coul've done many things to prevent me from making those accusations. Sorry if I offended you, didn't really mean to do that, just wanted to clear things up ... like I said in the "Research Post" ... "I'm not trying to get on you ..."

170 next time you make a logo out of a stock image or ready made image just post a comment saying so, and that you edited it. Else you will have to spend time in discussions like this one, trying hard to prove yourself right. Better still dont use stock images they are not unique and you get less of a buzz when you win the comp.

To be Honest. This logo will not be used.

let me explain.

I ask my partner to look at the logos and he did. He dosent like any of them Instead he has asked me to do a Simple Logo|(New Roman Text) with Dark Orange fading to light in the background from left to right embedded within the Text. Now I cannot just say no one won... Cause that would not be right. So I have chosen this one that I like as the winner.
