Please make sure to post in threads like these if you 'know' that they're scams (not you, Tippy, as you probably didn't see this at first).

Identify of the original poster matches another NamePros user, Dr. Pepper. Why he made a second account as ForumGuy is not clear. http://www.namepros.com/members/1165.html

Did everyone who purchased from this offer get their money back from PayPal? Were any services provided? More info is appreciated.

Isn't it a good idea to wait until the 19 days are over before filing a claim?

One guy signed up and made 6 posts. However, confirmation that he did this in cooperation with ForumMan is pending.

Good point. Complaint filed! It's impossible for him to get 500 posts in a few days, anyways.

Those posts belong in the advertising forum as new topics. This is not an advertising thread; this is a scam discussion topic.

If you have a cell phone with free minutes, you may want to call Paypal for faster response. Otherwise, it will be a while before you will hear from them.

I would imagine they receive ton of complaints everyday so there is a long list.

4:00 AM PDT to 10:00 PM PDT Monday through Friday
6:00 AM PDT to 8:00 PM PDT on Saturday and Sunday

Paypal support: 402-935-2050

Good luck!

PayPal refuses to give refunds on any services or intangibles items, so this guy gets to keep all the money he scammed from people, what a shame.

sorry this happened to you...even though it looks as thought the money you put in is lost, make sure that reports are filed with paypal, and with namepros...that way you at least have done everything in your power to protect others from this kind of person.

Sad to think that there are people out there that don't have enough B*LLS to make it in business the legit way, and have to try to take advantage of honest people to make...what 45 bucks...$90 if two people bought it???

Sad...all we can hope for is that KARMA is a BI*TCH!

Ya everything has been filed with PayPal, it went thru the full dispute process and they came back with their stock reply on service items:

Quote:
Unfortunately, PayPal was not able to resolve this dispute because the item
purchased was virtual or intangible. As a result, we have not taken any
action against either account at this time. However, this complaint has
been noted in the seller's record for future reference
Im sure he will get his eventually, just wish I could get my hands on him and give him a good thumpin.

In my case, PayPal also let the scammer keep my money. However, the loser can't use his PayPal account until he grants me a full refund. Well, I don't think he'll be using the account anyways - he'll probably just sign up for another and scam some more people. PayPal will let him keep others' money in those cases, too.

So sad.

yeah but he can not use the same address, bank account or credit card info for multiple accounts, so at some point he will run out of options if he is trying to create new accounts each time he is reported. I mean he has to get his money from paypal somehow...and even if he gets it mailed to him, he can't move or use his friends all the time, it will eventually end.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=92648

besides, it seems like a lot of work to me to create new account, use others addresses ect... in order to make 45 or so bucks...even with a couple sales, not worth all the hassle I would think...

but then again, I think that is the problem, LACK OF THINKING...OR A BACKBONE FOR THAT MATTER...
