Well buying your own full name .com or any extention can be valuable if you become famous, etc... Say you become an author, a basketball player, etc... Once your known popular around the world someone else will take it from you, so unless you would want to buy it from that person, registering it wouldn't be such a bad idea.

I do own my first and last name .com though.

I have also found that I'm a president of a large company..lol...or my name sake is, when I tried emailing them, i believe they got confussed..lol... then the other me wrote back.

5 years later, I just bought my fullname.com I think in the next 10 years there might be a use for your name because of the recent IP Phones you might be able to add your name to your IP address so that people just call your domain.

A name would be easy to rember.
