I can't register my first name.... and am supprised that I can register my full name(there is a European Opera singer with the same first and last name). I could register just my last name if I wanted too.

I registered my fullname.com just last month. I guess I'm lucky to own it, don't want someone else to have it to park some adult pics or something. Lol. But literally, I don't really use it. Unfortunately, I tried to purchase my last name two months ago and some domain giant owns it, not willing to let it go at all. So..I gave up. Lol. I'm happy with my fullname.com

*And ya, my firstname.com (Flora.com) is way too expensive for me. But if I do earn like a million a month when I grow up (or married a super-duper rich husband), I'll consider accquiring it. Hehehe.*

I just did another type in of my name and go to figure my first and last name .com were taken. I still can get just my last night though. My name had 26,400 results and Google and it is not a common first/last name!

Just recently I tried registering my last name since it was expiring and even though it`s in spanish and is not very common it was registered by someone and is parked using google adsense for some reason...can`t think why it would get any traffic

My full name is still available.Might use one of those $4 registrars to grab it while I can

I regged my partners name for her (Chiara). The .com was taken so I got Chiara.co.uk instead.
I doubt I'll ever get my own first name which is Christian!

I regged my last name .com. Quite fortunate, too, as soon after the reg someone using my last name as her screen name has become somewhat famous in the local "adult" industry. It will be a cold day in h*ll before I let my last name drop and end up being developed with a bunch of adult affiliate banners.

If your last name is still available as a dotcom, I highly recommend that you get it before it gets regged and used in a way you don't like.
