Can someone advise me ?

I am not a webmaster but I do have quite a few domains for sale, all of which have quite a few links. As I now have over 70 sites I have decided that it is too many.

Can the Moderator tell me if it is OK to post them on this Forum ?

This is not the place to post domains for sale:

These would be the correct areas:

http://www.namepros.com/domains-for-sale-make-offer/
http://www.namepros.com/domains-for-sale-auctions/

Couple more to add:
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=83628

Exclusive/ Transfers()com - $150 to an enduser. Dropcaught for regfee. (Pending transfer)
Juice/ Consulting()com - $100 to an enduser. Dropcaught for regfee.

Exclusive/ Transfers()com was another brought to my attention by JoshuaPz's list.

I've sold single domains for much more, but in terms of working a buy-to-flip to endusers business plan, this was probably my single most successful week (hovering near the $900 mark), with possibly more to come that, if they prove out, will easily ring up double. I'm still a little fish in a big pond, but I'm a little fish who's got positive cash flow in my DN portfolio, and I'll take that any day.

I'm under the impression these Fabulous.com parking pages (given they life on decent domains, of course) are the shizznit. I just hesitate to transfer 100 of my domains from GoDaddy to Fabulous because I have such a pleasant GoDaddy executive rep., and I don't want to risk losing her.

Anyway, I'll stop there because this isn't a parking/monetization thread. Great sales, Jamie.

I have noticed no fall in the rate of end-user sales in the $100-$3000 range, despite the plunge in domainer-to-domainer swaps. I think we've almost reached that critical point at which domains have been traded up as high as they could via domainer-to-domainer sales, and now our only viable options are to hold, develop, flip to end-users, or cut our losses and drop those illiquid domains on the floor.

Rick Schwartz himself stated he never does domainer-to-domainer flips. One day, the domaining masses will wake up and understand why.

Federer also sold iphotos.net to Bruno Farmaceutici

http://whois.domaintools.com/iphotos.net

AND tequilas.net to Bruno

http://whois.domaintools.com/tequilas.net

MDJ.com that he "sold" for 10k is also owned by Bruno

http://whois.domaintools.com/mdj.com

this is IN ADDITION to goflights.com and explosion.net that tzxsc pointed out.

Care to explain federer?

I have sold many other domains to end users, including the Greek > NIKAS.com (TO Nikas.gr), and the Indians > JumpGames.com (TO jumpgames.co.in) etc. etc.

Also sold UMX.com to a german investor.

Sold CardsToday.com for $1,500 (brought a few weeks earlier for $59)

Sold NothingPersonal.com for $1650

CrossTrainers.net for $1050 (brought for $89)

Sold CheapTravels.net for $1,000 (cost me $59)

Sold Amatrice.com for $9,000 (cost me $3,900)

Sold Ares.net for $21,000 - cost me less than $7k

Find Bruno/Vincenzo's name in any of these sales and I'll send $1k to your PayPal account!
Bruno/Vincenzo is attached to CheapTravels.net.. I'll PM you my PayPal info for the $1k

Being a small fish in the biggest pond on the planet also has its advantages

I believe the exact characterization was "incestuous" domaining, and it remains alive and well - accounting for the lion's share of activity.

Recently reported by DNW.com:
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=83628

2008 Figures
- Median sales price on Sedo was $500
(Primarily serves domainers/investors)

- Median sales price by NameMedia (BuyDomains.com) was $1200
(Primarily serves SMBs)

A market this size will always have retail and wholesale channels.

You just need to decide where to dip your pole.

I think personally that because of the basic business model most small domainers employ (i.e. buy things, wait, and hope for a buyer to stumble onto them) that sales to resellers end up being almost a psychological move, i.e.: "Crap, I haven't sold anything in forever, is this really working? Time to hit the NP sales forum." When your portfolio is large enough, and priced to sell, it's just a numbers game -- you're going to get some offers on a 5,000-domain portfolio with some regularity, even for second or third-tier DNs. But if you have 200 second or third-tier domains, offers probably won't happen quite that often. Then folks start to get antsy.

JMO,
ripley.
