Send me a PM message and I'll give you the name of the 2 guys who brought CrossTrainer.net from me if you like if you really have to know.

NothingPersonal.com has whois privacy, so what?

CheapTravels.net > as I had caught this little gem, the creation date renewed itself and started from day one. Hence the 60-day domain lock. That is why I am still the whois owner, but rest assured, the domain is sold.

Any other questions, your honour?

I MYSELF have sold to this buyer and I know of someone (through whois) that has sold a few high dollar names to this buyer. I think Federer has already explained himself, he's got a close working relationship with the buyer. I don't understand what is so hard to believe or understand about that.

What difference does it make it Federer did/did not sell these domains? If he did congrats if he didn't he'd only be fooling himself & hurting his own reputation.

I could tell you that I just closed 2 deals for $xxx, xxx each. Would it make a difference? (I didn't BTW)

Making it APPEAR a domain has a certain value when it doesn't is the biggest one.

Thanks...

Now to those few concerned, please stop making a mountain out of a molehill. I DID sell this domains to various end users (yes, Vincenzo got his fair share) and if you really want proof, just shoot Ron en email at DNJournal and he'll back me up.

Maybe I won't be posting any more of my end user sales as it seems to be disturbing 1 or 2 members for reasons beyond me imagination....

I posted the sales out of encouragment to other domainers showing what can be done with little/no experience. I have only been on the domain train since April/May 2008 and have acomplished what I believe to be some great ROI sales. Who I sell to and what domains I sell is completely irrelevant. Just wanted to show what could be done with a little energy and careful research.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=83628

Sorry for having shared my enthousiasm and joy.

I have made an end user sale. But will not be posting it here....

I too have had 2 domains that I can think of purchased by this buyer on Sedo. It appears that he is purchasing some good names and Federer has sold him some.

It is not unusual for a buyer to purchase numerous domains from one seller, especially if they have what they want..... End of story!

It is not uncommon to sell multiple names to the same buyer - as in any business - there will be repeat clients. In restaurants repeat business can account for 80-85% of sales. In the domain business __%?

cardstoday.net is actually available! could it be worth $1,500? oh of course, you forgot the extension of your domain.

I agree with the common sense, but you see it all the time in the domain industry.. People saying, "I picked up a domain that sold for X amount at Z time" and so on.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=83628

I mean, fliq.com isn't common sense at $10.1K, but it was reported sold on Sedo. Does that make it worth $10K? Clearly to somebody.. that wanted to have it land on a godaddy park page..

sorry for flood, but..

Federer, PLEASE, don't stop posting your sales here. I'm always waiting for your post. They give me great motivation. And I think I'm not the only one who is excited about your success. I think it's normal that there are some scepticism. Balance is a result of interaction at least two forces. Extremes are inevitable.

Respect,

I think when you see someone like Federer who appears to be selling the pants off the rest of us it is natural to become skeptical. However, I believe that anyone can be very successful selling to end-users, even in this market, if you have good names, you are aggressive, you are a good communicator, and if you put in a lot of hours. Federer appears to be doing all of this but it is also possible that he is being dishonest. Time will tell I guess.....

I am not being dishonest in any way, shape or form. And do not come close to accusing me of dishonesty. I have no need to defend myself. I have the right to sell as many domains to one particular end user as I wish. Even if I sell 1000 domains to the same guy, no-one has the right to object. I have made some cracking sales as a domainer novice, and am getting PM's every hour asking for help, brokerage etc. I help and give back to the community as much as I can through tips and advice.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=83628

Now let's get 1 thing clear, for those that are too lazy to contact end users and decide to make stupid remarks out of jealousy, please post them to my face via PM. I won't reply because my time is too valuable contacting end users for my domains and domains of users here at this very thread.

What is happening here! I thought this was a thread to report domain sales, and that is what Federer has done - not a Witch hunt.
Yes debate on certain topics is good but Federer has explained himself more than I and many others would have done so. Someone even posted the name of his main buyer - and who cares if it is only one buyer, maybe i'm ignorant here but isn't a $ a $. Well done him for finding the contact.

Good job Federer, keep on posting your sales here.

i like reading about sales, everyone should post them. i will post some myself soon. as usual people attack the wrong people. ie' the lurking scammers who never post but steal details etc

i think a few people were just expressing some caution as no-one likes being sold a fairy story. if it's worth anything I think you have a real talent.
now how about getting back to me. I have sent 2 pms to you about broking for me. lol
