@JoshuaPz & everybody else,
Just a quickie, do u send end-user emails from your ISP email, your domain company email or free email (gmail, yahoo, etc..) ?

Cause I usually send from my domain company email, but the website is undeveloped, hence this could make end-users think wary about you....

What do you think?

I use my University alumni account. These and company (non domaining-related) e-mail addresses are ideal.

If you don't have access to one of the above, you should establish a simple but polished website at your domaining company's domain name with an FAQ, and, optionally your domaining portfolio. Check out what one NPer set up at her T e x l a / V e n t u r e s (d o t) c o m, for example. I imagine she built that site in less than 3 hours.

A LinkedIn profile will help your cause, too. I've also noticed that G now offers Google Profiles, though I haven't tried it out yet:
http://www.google.com/profiles?edit=f

Good luck!

Belated congratulations to Federer on the Bakery .net sale. It is encouraging to hear that even .NET does have end user demand if you have the right name and do the legwork. No doubt .NET domains do position well on Google for exact match terms so the SEO benefits of a searched phrase can certainly be mentioned in a sales pitch. I just acquired a .net recently and launched this week. We'll see how Google positions it...

Quick question....these domains you sold, how close to the buyers ORIGINAL url were these? For instance SoftwareIndia did that sell to someone who had the same name but in a diffrent extension OR was it to just a software company in india with a completly and totally diffrent name?

I have been away from the site for awhile... but I have been very busy with domains.

I just sold Jesus.net for low $XXX,XXX. The negotiations had reached a stalemate when Don Ham (Kevin Ham's brother) intervened, acting as a neutral third party and broke the stalemate. The new owner has plans for growing his current ministry efforts.

I purchased this for reg fee in 1997. The deal was brokered via Sedo with no attempt to go to auction.

Initial contact was made by direct email from buyer to seller, requesting purchase. Further details will be supplied if buyer approves.
