Grateful for ALL your reactions (posts, pms and emails as well) re Gun.tv. It seems that in a few hours the name has got more popularity than in two years time ! I know that .tv names is a patient investment, I started 3 years ago and I will assume my .tv portfolio over the coming years, Gun.tv and a few others being part of the 10% for which I have a doubt, wrong investment ? I do not know but I reg them 'cause I like the name, it is catchy, works well in the look and feel of its extension, then one can easily imagine a dynamic, multimedia demo content site about guns, weapons, armament. It could also be used for any provocative trendy PR site and... and yes I agree with Equity, the name is not intuitive enough to run on its own and generate traffic. I see its result every month, a rare few bucks as such non-developed. So talking about development it does need, like for any other too generic name, an effective development to get its powder and awareness. I guess developing a .tv name is more challenging than developing a standard static .com page, why ? Just because everyone expect to get through this promissing tv extension, -if not a more dynamic or powerful content but-, at least something different than from the old .com. I do not have the time and energy to develop names as they would deserve, so why not market them directly to end-users ? For the same above reason, time and mainly because I believe that if an end-user is really looking for a name he will find you through your "name is for sale" page, .tv being the sole attractive and international alternative of the saturated .com market. Sorry maybe to bother some of you with my story, own naive conviction and rotten English, so to end now with Gun.tv please note that I will communicate directly with those who have kindly contacted me.
THANKS again
