I was wondering how much can be made ballpark from parking a domain at sedo. I heard some people say you can make a few hundred is that about ave or can you make more. I am trying to get some ideas.
Completely depends on the name, of course.
If you parked "sex.com" there, you could probably make millions.
But if you parked "iloverawtacomeatsometimes.com" there, you'd be lucky to make .01
We have folks that are making great money there, indeed, usually choosing to park low $ domains there in order to avoid the minimum transaction fee associated with sedo sales.

Develop a site that will generate traffic and use Google AdSense or affiliate programs to help sell products and generate commissions. I don't plan on paying much attention to parking any more and plan to start developing a few sites. It may take longer to get going, but unless you find some real diamonds in the rough, I think that this seems like the better way to go these days.
Can't agree you with you more there. The key to making money with domain names that are not in use is devlopment. Say it with me, "De-velop-ment". Whenever I have a domain with some or little traffic, I put on some great content and do a little promotion and watch the money role in. The content I use varies from mesothelioma content to loans content and earns quite a bit on Google. Sometimes I use the content to develop a .info and promote it and sell it three or four months later for anywhere between $50 and $200. Great way to make money I say.
