No more Internet businesses. The hot thing would be mail order again. And I would spend a lot more time on the phone.

I was at a relatives house the other day, looking at an Encyclopedia set I thought about how I'm never going to own a set that that. Has Google completely replaced the need for reference books?

Maybe i would save up my money buying other stuff such as a nice home surround system? or some properties? rather than a domain name that basically does not have much value by itself?

But now it seems to be a collection to me. sort if hobby.
some of you guys might take it as a form of business, regardless of how we treat it, it certainly bring something special for us.

It's so much easier to keep in touch with people now. It hard to imagine life without cell phones and the Internet.

Thats so true

i hardly ever need to call a freind up before i go out
they are usually on msn or aim :D
only time i use the phone is when someone calls ME up :P

I just bought a complete set of encyclopedias from the library last month for $40. The guy basically gave them to me, he's always got a big smile and a hardy hello when I see him. I put them on my bookcase and said, "wow, I finally own a huge complete set of the platinum leather bound series". I haven't touched them since they went up, and I don't think I ever will, unless the electric goes out for a few years, then I'll be the source.

Actually we had the "internet" back in the late 1970s - it was called BBS and much the same, just a lot less colors and graphics - not a bad thing with 1200 Baud modems
