Actually no real surprise here as the extension has been steadily rolling along pleasantly surprising many and more than likely disturbing a few!

Wow! Congrats on the huge sale for this name! How did you go about finding the buyer? Or did they contact you about it?

Thanks for all of the congratulations. The payment did process, so no worries there.

I believe I was able to get a nice sum from this name because I knew what I wanted going in. I had no set price on the domain, and the buyer's first offer was less than $200, and his 2nd offer was less than $500. With the sales of the .biz and the .us, though, along with nice affiliate commissions possible in the hosting niche and the potential ranking power of a .tv, it wasn't too hard to convince the buyer of the potential value of the name.

The new owner wants to remain anonymous. Do you know who bought this domain? It looks like it was freshly registered in January 2011.
