I have god knows how many friends on the net who come from different country's, but all divert to English while speaking on the internet, they do it automatically, so not every user will use this. So the numbers keep dropping, as I said before not the biggest event in internet history.

Though I must admit its nice, it just isn't internet event history making stuff.

That's all my point is.

And you're missing the point again. Many people do speak English, many don't, many can write or read in latin script, many can't. However people use foreign languages when they've got no other option. Whenever the've got the choice they'll use their native language / script.

If you were from Jordan you'd be talking in Arabic with your Jordanian friends. If you were German the two of us would be talking in German. That's why Arabic sites are written in Arabic and that's why Japanese people type in Japanese keywords at Yahoo.

One of my best online friends lives in Jordan but I don't think he will get wind of this, ill ask him and see what he thinks.
You must be joking , the rest of the world in their own language after 25 years of waiting and you still deny this is history changing
