If we all had a satisfactory answer to that, the question would not have been asked, but thank you for your input.

I think objective responses were the norm in the .tv forum before the mod purging and that you are over reacting. Newbies make mistakes, no kidding. My first 20 or 30 domains as a 'domainer' were .bz domains.... If you aren't making mistakes in a new business, you aren't trying very hard. I would bet the 'oldtimer' .tvers were all .tv newbies that made mistakes, learned from that and improved. It's a process, you don't just start out as a domaining genius.

I agree, no one starts as a genius, in fact I'll go so far as to say most people in this business are still clueless.

Why a two sided conversation is relevant, at least imho.

Anyway, i think enough said by me at least, I'll leave you all to what you do best.

Samit I am not sure where the one sided part ever came from. I personally have never told anyone to register a .tv. This forum was started on the premise you already liked .tv, there was no discussion about .tv and you would like a place to chat with other like minded individuals. In 2005 I told people don't register a lot of domains because of the $25 vs $7 and that it was not a domainers extension, I have told people never go over $1000 premium and only if they needed that exact name. I have spoken to Verisign and I do not mean some entry level person answering a phone, I spoke to Scott in great detail when he ran .tv. criticized Versign for every bad move. So no one sided commentary.

Lets stop bsing this is about one person, who tried this nonsense 3 years ago sitting and appraising .tv 0 nothing else just 0, people like Badger,JohnTv, Tld Networks asked me what is this person's problem, I pmmed RJ and RJ took care of the situation, 3 years nothing, I left as a mod and this person (JEFF) came back. That's what this is about, if we need to play some game that's fine but people just might want to be straight up honest, this is what its about, THE WHOLE PREMISE OF THIS FORUM AND I DO LOVE WHEN OTHERS STATE IT, because I developed it and pitched RJ on the idea, was for a place for like minded individuals to have a place to talk. The early days of this forum were never .tv rules, better than .com, replacing .com any of that. What I always said was it provided a lot of people who missed the .com 96 to 2002 era to have a chance to find names that they could develop and some to resell. Many here have made xx,xxx selling .tv a few xxx, xxx. Those people would not and did not make that from their .com portfolio. So the people coming into someone elses club and talking smack is a joke. I have always said its like a heterosexual male, knowingly going into a lesbian bar and telling them they should like men. No one was asking if you liked .tv, that's why you have domain discussion.

And yes Samit you are IMO a good guy I know you own a few .tv. Do not kid yourself this is about one person anyone who says differently I will tell them to their face they are a liar. Bottom line steps were taken to do away with the nonsense.

Best of luck to everybody in every extension and remember no bad extensions just bad domainers. Again IMO
