![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | If the flu mutates and comes back this fall we will have something to worry about. Otherwise I don't think this particular virus will amount to too much. They said that it is missing a key componet that other flu viruses have, which make them highly aggressive/contagious. If this does mutate and gain that key componet, then we will have something pretty big to worry about. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Someone at my school (who I didn't even know existed until this happened) caught swine flu. Naturally, some newspaper wrote an article on it and interviewed a few parents. The opinions gathered were all along the lines of "why would I be worried? It's only a 'flu." |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Here in Madeira Island we had the first 9 cases in the past 3 weeks, all of them from people coming from the UK. It seems the UK is ridled with the flu.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I just heard that Germany might delay the new school year by two weeks due to swine flu fears. (Apparently, many Germans who vacationed in other countries brought the bug back.)

Pretty soon it will be forgotten about and people will be like yeah i had the swine flu. |

![]() | ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/the-break-room/578849-swine-flu-whos-worried.html Exactly, like an ordinary flu but the fact that after a couple of days if you have no vaccine of it then you got the flu, they say you can die, that alarms me |

![]() | I'm not worried really. A lot of people die from the regular flu every year.

![]() | We had two guys at work who had swine flu, one had is really bad, the other just shrugged it off like a normal cold. You have nothing to worry about as long as you dont have a heart condition or you're really young/elderly. I've been in contact with them (before I knew they had it) and I feel fine... *cough* On a side note, me and a mate started openly talking about swine flu at work the other day in loud voices, and you could see the fear ripple accross the crowds as people started turning their heads and whispering to each other. It was so funny, we fell behind the desk and laughed our heads off for about ten minutes. Giggles |

![]() ![]() ![]() | funny cause when I replied to this thread, I said I'm not too alarmed about the flu. But now, I have the "flu" symptoms and I was thinking if I got it...off to the doctor tomorrow if my fever wont go down. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Swine Flu is a scam. 36,000 people die from the flu every year in the USA. Of the hundreds of strains of flu, the chance of you catching swine flu is almost zero. I nearly died from two strains of the flu in 2003, neither were the swine flu. I recommend not getting flu shots either, rather build up your immune system so when you are exposed to pathogens your body can naturally defend itself.
