Jobs Auction Notification in Sedo e-news letter today.

I enquired at Sedo for more info on this auction and received the following from John Jacobsen today:

We will be reviewing and considering all related job domains that are short, fulfil our quality criteria and and have a high selling probability. Here are some additional requirements for the job related domains:

1) Anything related to a particular profession, such as doctor.com, footdoctor.com, intern.com, secretary.com, etc.

2) Any location with a generic profession or industry, like NYCLawyers.com, BostonTemps.com, etc. We would like the location or area to be populous, the industry to be large, and the TLD should be .com only unless it pertains to a different area, like LondonJobs.co.uk would be fine, or docteur.fr would also make sense.

3) Any other catchall in the employment industry, like Resumes.com, HumanResources.com, TrainingCourses.com, Interviews.com, Getajob.com, etc.

It's still missing from the forthcoming auctions page, but submissions are ongoing as the option still appears in the drop-down menu at the bottom of the Domain Management page.

Submitted JobsHospital(.)com & JobsNurse(.)com both got the Q return email so no go... not sure what they were looking for, even started them off at the min $60 start price, I saw even lamer names on prem list at greatdomains so im done.

I submitted 5 names about 4 days ago that all showed that not for sale/grey box thing..for a while. Day before yesterday, 4 were rejected (I assume), since they went back to the for sale status. I still have one, that is still blanked out, yet I haven't received any sort of communication from SEDO period.

My domain aragonempleo.es fit criteria #2 perfectly. Aragon = Large region in Spain, a couple million people. Empleo = employment/jobs.
"Aragon Employment" , steady traffic and revenue since registration, and 100% rejected.

Just entered constructionwork.asia
I'll keep my fingers crossed.
Don't expect an approval because it's a dot asia.

How did you find out - did they tell you? I have never been impressed by sedo's communication skills! I cant even remember which 5 I submitted...

Your post reminded me I own Construction.co.in. So I submitted it to Sedo for review and it too was rejected.
Now they are turning away true Category Killers. Yikes!

They sent me an email with a 'Q' qualification which means it's just not good enough.

Well, i'm pretty bemused about their criteria for choosing names...??

Some of them there are just plain bemusing compared to some that were rejected

these were accepted:

adsjobs.com (has reserve)
brandmanager.net (has reserve)
candidatures.org (has reserve)
deputycommander.com
lajob.net
nicework.net (has reserve)
losingajob.com

i checked out the stats on these using Google Keyword Tool, Estibot, etc etc and i just dont get it....compare to these of mine that were rejected (all submitted with no reserve):

ClerkEmployment dot com
- 5,400 EXACT searches per month global - (according to Google Adwords)

- good ads competition
- estibot.com values at $32,000

DirectorEmployment dot com
- 9,900 EXACT searches per month global - (according to Google Adwords)
- good ads competition
- estibot.com values at $47,000

IntructorJobs dot net

- it is a dot net, but a good dot net for this auction imo

I had several submitted and AdsJobs.com is one of mine. The criteria, I have to agree is not clear. AdsJobs.com was one of the first names that I submitted, but they have rejected several other names that I would have considered better. They did come back with no reserve on few of them, which I am not listing.
