Code gdx347de yields the message:
"The promotional code you entered is expired or inactive." and the price for me is $9.92 for a dot com renewal.

BACON3 is $8.67 but says its a "Total Discount 42%" so I still maintain that GD has not only cracked down on coupons but they also have an elaborate system of tailoring discounts by customer now. Why would BACON3 be 34% for you and 42% for me? Why does gdx347de get you $8.62 renewal but $9.92 for me? They have to be tailoring coupons by account now.

What I also find interesting his how dot com names have increased. Now they're 15 bucks a pop according to GD? What are they made of, gasoline?

21% for me (dot com). $14.99 down to $11.74 then promo code reduced it more (Your Savings -$3.25) for a grand total of $11.92 for a dot com renewal. Horrible.

BACON3 is the only thing that works for me at the moment.

Worked for me $2.95 for a new .com as well as the free matching .info name.

Notes:

I did not log into my GD account until I had selected the available domain and added it to cart.

My currency was in USD.

I went to the link using the URL in a new browser session, not by pasting the coupon code.

Final cost, including ICANN fees was US$3.31 for the .com and .info.

use a discount code for a COM plus INFO, and think of the COM as the free one.


another option is to have an account with a reseller, which might have a lower INFO regfee.
