no I haven't bothered....
to be honest, with GD @ $7.20 I prefer to pay a little extra and use namecheap @ $7.99 with the 'bestvalue' coupon. For GD I want the price to be < $6 before I jump...OK maybe $6.50. All previous experience sugggests that there will be another GD offer along soon. GD are domain name fishwives.

I don't know if this has been mentioned before...

Where it says "If you have a promo or source code enter it here:** ", notice the two asterisks. There lead to this note: "Please note, additional promotional discounts do not apply to renewal products discounted or bulk domain names."

Well that pretty much ends the coupons for renewals and bulk purchases. All codes I tried didn't work.

Here's an update: Just for kicks, I tried the code yoshiwara suggested a few threads above: gdh050230

It took a $1 off of every .com renewal I did (a total of 4 of 9 renewals): instead of $8.20, each was $7.20. Hey, every lil bit helps.

It could be $5.23/each with quickblog loophole...

Can someone explain the quickblog method or step by step? I tried adding quickblog to my cart, and turns out i have to pay $5+, and the domain $2 .Total is more than the $7.20 for a domain that I can get with HASH3.

Thats the first time

if you spend 7+ once you can get the 5.23 each time after that you just need to renew that quick blog

good luck

$10 off $40 purchase

Through May 31, you should be able to basically get roughly a "buy 4, get 1 free" deal at GoDaddy by using "gdh0526" (if that doesn't work for some reason, try "gdh0526a"). That is, as the subject line says above, they're offering $10 off any purchase of $40 or more. I guess that basically works out to the same as the 20%-off code when you buy 5 domains, but it's worth mentioning anyway...

But everytime you do this, you'll have to pay 1.99 for quickblog + 5.23 for domain = 7.22
this is more expensive than getting the domain straight off with a $2 discount

No. You must *RENEW* your blog for 1 month, NOT buy the new one for 2 months. Look the first/main post for the exact instructions.

Good luck!

above is not quite right.
(renew quickblog for 1 month) + (reg or renew domain) = total $5.23

Thank you all for clarifying. Just want to ask. If I use the quickblog method to register 3 domains at the same time,...

1) Will I still get the free privacy?
2) Do I have to renew 3 quickblog to get the 3 domains at 5.23 each?
3) If I reg the domains for more than 1 year,... will the fee for 2nd year and subsequent also be 5.23?

Iravan, you probably mean one MONTH for each domain. I can renew 2 domains having ONE blog acccount, but renewing it for 2 months, for example.

And that you must do QUICK as I feel this loophole isn't for long anymore...

BTW, an interesting question... According to GoDaddy marketing crap ("10 reasons", or whatever it's called), you will NOT pay more for renewal than you've paid for the registration. An exact quote from their site:

Quote:
1. Guaranteed renewal price.
You’ll never pay more to renew your domain name than the rate you paid when you initially registered it, or what our registration rate was when you transferred. (The only exceptions would be if the price the registry charges us increased, or if you took advantage of a limited-time, special price. If the registry increases our cost, yours will go up only by the amount ours did, never more.)
You can find this here.
