Contrary to some of the comments about Godaddy, I am pleased with my Godaddy experience. I preordered three names with them and got two. One of them is a vacation domain that appraises for 500,000 on the .COM. Of course, don't take that comparison to the letter, but it gives you an idea of the value fo the keywords. The one I did not get was MANHATTAN.CO, which from the start I had seen as beyond my reach and preordered just in case.

.CO and the rush. What if...

Yesterday I saw that 2012.co was available for registration. I left my computer for one or two minutes to go get a cup of water and by then the domain was gone. I then saw that 2013 was also available. This time, of course, I did not leave my computer, but registered the domain, however, the confirmation email showed a refund and an unsuccessful registration. I asume you are experiencing this too. Because, let's face it, inspite of the doubts expressed by many experienced domainers, who are discoraged by what happened with other extensions, the majority of domainers operate on a "what if..." mentality. Maybe the doubt and pessimistic expressions of experienced domainers are the best allies of "newcommers".

Average LLL.com rarely sell for $XX,XXX. Most trade between domainers for mid - high $X,XXX.

LLL.net are worth mid $XXX on average. LLL.org are worth low - mid $XXX.

LLL in INFO/BIZ/US have very limited value.

I fail to see LLL.co selling for big numbers ever. At least not for random ones that don't have meanings.

If you want to roll the dice on quality ones that makes more sense. I just don't see the random ones like ZQK.co being worth anything.

I registered 4 LLL.co.
I hope to receive a little of traffic also from other TLDs (such as co.uk, co.in, co.jp ...) if registered

Is there any problem between .co root server and registrars? I am checking some names, and they all have same whois status: "Not found: " (should be available) , however, some of those names are reported as registered through registrars, and some are not?

Check first your domain name at whois.co :if your name is there, the domain is yours.

There are lots of random LLL domains available with other ccTLDs (like .me and .tv), and almost no market. And I dont think .co will become more popular then tv or me. I would stay away from random LLL.co. Actually, I would stay away from .co domains in general, except for super premium terms.

No... first you need to check .CO Registro | Whois. second, if your name is on the whois then it is not going to auction and it will be yours within 24hours (today at 2pm PST) if it still says "There were no records matching your WHOIS query." then it is going to auction and you will have to wait next week to start biding.

I think that this ccTLD dot CO has a great potential, and I think that after 1 year all these 3 letters .co will be worth "something"!
Just wait and see, but take them TODAY while you still can... otherwise it might be too late... and you know what I mean

The most CO-lossal domain on the web

There are some LLL I searched for yesterday and were free but I was in doubt because of the relative high price.
Checked them today *to buy* and... are all taken that's life.

I sometime think the same thing for the esti/eval domain sites...wondering if it may be keywords or lengths that may get sent to the domain admin if available???? prolly just conspiracy theory on my part
