What the 'F' you talking about hommie? Someone asked if all names on DNS where Franks, I replied 'no' (which is true!), and you feel it's necessary to take that answer and jump on my case about being 'bitter' on new extensions??? And a 'know-it-all newbie' as yourself complains about people trolling and instigating things here?!? Grow up and get a life moron!

Dr Wayne Dyer observes: "When you judge another, you do not define them, you define yourself"

Some members on this forum do not realize that, leaving them as open as a book as to their character. You may be an avid .co fan but you are NOT a moron.

.CO to me is too much of a challenge but I respect those who see the value in it. Just sayin...

Picked up a few interesting .co domains today.

icelandic.co
shuai.co
xiongmao.co
haojiu.co

The last three are romanized Chinese words. Shuai = 帅 which is the extremely popular word for "handsome" in Chinese.
Then xiongmao = 熊猫, which means "Panda".
Then haojiu = 好酒 or 好久 = Good Alcohol or Long Time.

I'm gonna try and sell these on 4.cn

I think you have some nice names there. However, .co has caught on in the Chinese market only to a small degree, thus far. Hopefully you've set your prices at what the market demands.

Very good point. I think we should respect each other, even those who have unusual ideas about making money. I respect the guy on the moped picking up cans and the burger flipper at Sonic. But if they tried to give me advice I would probably ignore it.....

...interesting, considering you may be unaware of the persons' actual intelligence. Rather than attempting to grasp the concept of what is being said, you would choose to ignore any advice on the basis of their employment.

The abject failures on Wall Street and the various banks that we had to bail out with our money so we could provide them with huge bonuses had advice as well. I guess that they qualify to not be ignored in your playbook.

Oops, I did go off topic here so I will cease and desist, but you may have gotten my point.

I meant what I said about the .co extension and have seen many good things happen with domain names in the .co realm...

Cool Big sale

I'm surprised nobody's picked up on this yet, but DNJournal reported the sale of Dolphin.co for $48,000 and Berkens posted about it.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=573976

The buyer was an oil company in the UAE. The name was one of the Reserved/Restricted Names held by the Registry:

Code:
http://www.thedomains.com/2012/02/09/dolphin-co-sells-for-48k-to-dolphin-energy-a-huge-oil-company-in-the-uae/#comments
I've noticed more BIN pricing on those Reserved names than before during WhoIS searches. Not all of them are, but quite a few have BIN prices at Sedo (some as low as $7,000...as high as $20,000).

Huge sale.

.co names sold over the past 2 weeks as reported by DNJorunal:

meeticaffinity.co $2,580
jelly.co $2,550
arise.co $2,500
steeltech.co $2,000
skivacations.co $1,500
papa.co $1,000

Papa.co is surely a steal with quite a few companies employing that generic.

I am looking for some feedback or thoughts on these (dot) CO domains I own. Is there any value in them, a rough idea or if you owned them what realistic price would you be happy with in selling them?
One more question if I may, for those selling CO domains, are you, as with other extensions, mostly selling to End Users you have contacted?
Thank you in advance

Interesting that, in UAE, they're so aware of how .CO is doing:
Quote:
...
The move to acquire the 'dolphin.co' domain name comes at a time when there is an increase in the number of companies acquiring .CO domain names.
