3rd party counters are going to likely show discrepancies. How much depends on the counter that is being used. First and foremost, any counter is not going to be able to count if:

- client website is unavailable or experiencing issues
- counter is overwhelmed (database error, etc..)
- visitor is behind an ISP proxy that may have cached the website (AOL, etc)
- other external factors

Secondly, the type of counter used makes a difference. Typically ones that execute through javascript or are remotely hosted are susceptible to the biggest error. We recommend reading directly from the server's access logs. Barring any issues listed above, access logs will typically provide the most accurate count on the client's side.

Lastly, pulling stats reports by referrer will also give false numbers as some browsers will not send referrers. IE is one that selectively sends referrer data.

I ordered 1000 visits from his site targeted by country and category and received them as promised... But it would be too good to be truth. He doesn't say that your page is opened as popunder. In fact this is impression, not visit. As result bounce rate of such visits is 95% while average bounce rate on my site is less than 40%. Don't fool yourself, use adwords - it's cheaper.

"adwords - it's cheaper" I don't know how long you have been in any type of marketing....but 80% of niches are extremely competitive. You will pay $.25-$2.00 per click.

Here are calculations: with 95% bounce rate 1000 "visits" (in fact popunder impressions) result in 50 actual visits. Cost of 1000 visits is 3.52 or 7 cents per visit. On adsense I'm paying 3 cents per visit from partner site and 5 cents per visit from google search. The price doesn't include additional expenses on useless traffic (95%). Also traffic itself is not quality because all visitors came from the same site, which is in my category, but related to different auditorium. Result is no registrations and no adsense revenue.

My conclusion: this kind of service is good only to generate fake traffic. Otherwise it's too expensive.

P.S. cmkmarketing refused to give refund.

The traffic is from a redirect and your raw server logs will show a unique ip connecting, 3rd part counters will register my domain as the website redirecting the traffic - this is normal.

I have bought visitors on six occasions and each time the service has been set up quickly and any queries answered promptly and to my satisfaction. I am not an expert on traffic but from what I can see, I get what I order.

Last night I recharged an account serving two domains. The first was set up instantly - and I mean instantly, and the traffic flow began almost at once. The second is still awaiting the set up, but at the time of writing the recharge was less than 24 hours ago.

Overall I am very happy with what I have been receiving - I soon let service providers know if I am not
