Nope. You can add subdirectories (called folders in your console).

In my vip account, I was able to create a subdomain of my subdomain account, which, I assume is gone by now.

Here's an example which does NOT resolve:
paris.hotel.tel
I assume you can add a subdomain of a subdomain:
EiffelTower.paris.hotel.tel
Also, I was able to add at least two website contacts on my main page. You can add limited text (for example, a description of your business), keywords, address, hobbies.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/domain-name-discussion/561820-the-official-tel-discussion-thread.html

Also, if you include a phone number, mobile phone users will be able to dial, just by clicking on the phone number.

It seems I only got nightclubs[dot]tel from those I pre-ordered.

I wish I had some more but at least I have this one. I think it fits the extension perfectly.

Did you pre-reg on DM? I had two and both turned out to be sunrises. I checked everyday on sunrise.nic.tel but they were both clear, I checked today and the same guy regged both my names. Even made up a company called "New+&+York" to sunrise NewYork.Tel.

yes all 10 were at domain monster
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=561820

Finance.tel
Mortgage.tel
Casino.tel
and many more

2 went out ( property.tel and hotel.tel ) but the rest all seemed clear and now its all gone cause .tel finally thought of announcing that it had that many sunrise application and all i think its all just fake so much for not holding up names or auctioning them off cause they will later on sedo or else where

if they want money so much they should have just priced it 3000 or plus anyone who wanted it would have grabed it.

i would have paid 3000 for casino.tel or any other good .tel

Domains were not created for people to buy, sell and trade. As such, this extension was not created for "domainers." You cannot place ads on these sites and monetize them. If you intend to monetize these domains I would stay away. If you intend to "hold" and resell later to an "end-user," I would not recommend this as well.

Yeah, I had NewYork.tel and Food.tel on DM. Both were clear of sunrise up until last night, wake up this morning and sunrise.nic.tel shows someone pending. Unfortunate.

Seems like the same guy that got mine got Finance.tel from yours also =].

"You can sell links on your site."

Very good point and I agree. You could also lease the name and/or links. However, I feel many people are rushing into this extension.

This is worse than .mobi because there is no website, it is a phonebook with contact info. No way to monitize this site. Have you seen the examples of a .tel, there are like 4 or 6 of them and they all look the same. Exactly the same.
