Appreciate the suggestion, we do have some things in the works to address the core issue of voter fatigue.

Cool. That's good enough for a little market research.

I'm a little surprised ChristmasTravelDeals(dot)com only got one vote. It only has one day left.

Looks to me like most of the other ones that aren't getting enough votes genuinely suck, which is encouraging. I'm amazed by how many sucky names there are out there. Makes me think selling in a premium auction is definitely the way to go. Makes it a lot easier for the buyer to find you amid all the junk. And if you don't get the votes, then you know your domain sucks and it's probably not worth the effort to try and market the thing anyway.

I don't know if this has been mentioned before or if this option is available.

I would like to see how many visitors come to the auction page for the name I am selling.

There was a problem with our outgoing email from the support desk. We were always replying to the tickets but the replies were not actually being sent from the server. We will have all the tickets resent shortly.

The auction you are referring to was yce.net correct? We paused that auction because the description contained stray html characters, and as such, prospective bidders could not read vital information about the auction. The auction was since unpaused, and removed, but may be relisted at a later date.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=560553
To expand on the pausing feature you noticed, Sellers cannot pause an auction, only Bido administration can.
Best regards

It seems Bido's mail support problem is not solved: I have sent over several days three requests to support for the same, very specific issue (over the ticket system), and have still not received any reply...

Quite disturbing, especially considering the fact that it pertains to a domain that the buyer won two weeks ago, that he paid to Bido more than a week ago (I managed to contact him to check, since he is also an expert on Bido), but still no confirmation/instructions from Bido to me, and thus no way to push the domain to its new owner.

At least, in this case, I managed to contact the owner - but in most cases, this would not even be possible, and it could create a very bad image both of the seller and of Bido. I have another domain coming for auction in a week, and I feel a little bit concerned about that if the problem is not fixed.

Please send me a PM and mention your registered email address so I can take a look at your tickets.
We try to respond to all support requests as soon as possible but due to the amount of inquiries its not instant. We are always working hard at improving response time.
Secondly, to address the core issue of your unknown transaction status that is apparently the problem you face, sometimes checks are mailed to Bido and winners may consider this 'being paid', its not paid till its cleared, for example. I am not familiar yet with your situation but will be happy to get to the bottom if it for you and explain what the status is. There can be several reasons why you were not instructed to push the domain to the winner yet, if the payment is still clearing accounting for example. Please do not push a domain till you are instructed. The email you were sent after your auction ended stated to await further instruction and that Bido will secure and clear the winners payment.

Also please know that we will soon unveil a buyer/seller transfer management panel that will greatly enhance the buying and selling experience and make it much easier and enjoyable to transact on Bido.
I hope you find this information useful and I look forward to helping you out and checking on it for you.

Well, that was interesting watching citylube.com and communitybank.us bid in tandem. I wonder if they helped each other get more attention.
