YipYea!!!!!
Just so you all know, Nick never did smoke.
Like CJ (Jeff), he chewed tobacco.

Full congratz to Nick, it has now been 14 days... the 2 week cleanout.
Lets hope it is all downhill from here.

It is really hard to quit smoking, there are so many methods to do it, but personally I put every thought about smoking into my will and as much stronger will you have as much time you don't smoke.

I have even forgotten I used to take tobacco LOL.

Didn't thought it would be this easy in end Now looking back just 20 days it seems like those dark days are gone

Here is the thing... it only takes one time to get someone started again.

Just ask any of us that have quit multiple times.
You think you have it whipped, and that "just this one" wont get me hooked again.
But it can!
So, keep fighting the good fight and remember how good you feel now!

Got it Yes I have been away from it for sometime in past too but that didn't lasted this long.

I am also having some attraction towards it till today. I sometimes feel I am not that sharp as I used to be. I feel I am not that alert that I used to be. But I am coping up with it.

Rest of the story you can see in my avatar

Hey Nick, are you still winning your fight? It gets easier as the days and weeks go by, but as Cyberian says; Be carefull with the temptations. Turn your back on them.

Hey, it is day 25 for me and it took about 17 days to finally get over the daily habits such as when you wake up in the morning, when you finish something, or after eating. I did use nicorette and if I didn't I may not have made it.

It can be done.
And if you slip and fall, that doesnt have to be the end of it...
just start (quitting) the next morning when you wake up.

The thing is that quitting smoking is not an easy thing, but my personal experience proves that it mainly depends on the person's will. I quited 3 years ago and I am really happy!

Nick, What an awesome thread you started!! Looks like you might be inspiring others as well.

I chewed Cope for about 20 years, and last year I decided I wanted to be healthier so I would be there to see my kids become adults. New Years Eve '07, I told my wife "this is the last one" and 1 year, 30 days later I can still stand by that statement. I remember feeling like this that first month, now I don't even think about it anymore. This year it is no alcohol, which I am at 30 days and counting. Sure does get easier but that first 30 days is the toughest!
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=548637

Keep this thread going and keep on inspiring

Bob

I am doing good now Was feeling like I lost edge in programming and all things. I was feeling something unusual and getting angry on everyone.

In between I was not able to sleep at nights because I was too full of energy and without tobacco my body was not going into relax mode.

Now I don't think of it too much. Sometimes when I go out in shops for other things I do see tobacco there and am inspired to have one but at the same time I am not allowing myself to do that.
