I was lucky enough to sell my first name (.TV) for 3.5k through Sedo a few months back. Was a hand-reg. Market slow at the moment but sales will come. Martin.

My first sale was through a domain investors website.

I booked my domain with Go Daddy for 1 year with a cost of $10.19 and sold it after 15 days only for $1,900

It was a great deal to both, me and the buyer

What did you mean? You negotiated from $60 to the final price of $5000?

I don't remember if it really was my first sale, but I know it was my first significant sale that showed me the value of keyword domain names:

I had bought a German one-word .com domain on eBay for low-mid $xx, which was a steal but apparently nobody else had been paying attention to the auction, and quickly resold that domain for $x,xxx to another investor within less than seven days. I got in touch with that seller via a domain forum, it was a handshake deal that went through the same day.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=517229

That sale opened my eyes to a world where you could achieve 10,000% returns within days or even hours after the initial investment if you were smart enough and willing to do the necessary research. Those might have been the golden days of domaining, and things might be more difficult today, but the opportunities are still out there!

Most of what I sold was on Sedo, but I think my first sale was right in the chat here on NamePros.

First sale was on eBay once I found there was indeed a market for domaining. Was nothing great around $300 or so dollars but did fuel the fire to pursue domaining more in depth.
