I personally do not think private reg is worth the trouble - i have many domains and get very little spam from that direction - but I do occasionally get offers.
If you do go the free private registration route be aware that it could autorenew next year.
If you're a member of this forum than I'm sure you can pretty quickly come up with 5 new domains you want to register in exchange for adding free private registration to EVERY single domain you have with GoDaddy.
In my example I saved over $377 on private registration but that figure would obviously grow tremendously if you have 20, 30, 50, 100 domains you want to add privacy too.
Keep in mind private registration really is key to avoiding potential thieves.
I recently wrote about my experience with them on my blog, which is what lead me on my search to find a cheap way to add privacy.
yes i visited the link to your blog but didn't click on the masked godaddy affiliate link. btw, you can easily save on private registration by registering at name.
That's fine. I just recently signed up for their affiliate program and certainly didn't create the post just in an attempt to make a small percentage off a $9 sale. I wanted to share the tip I found because I know it will help a lot of people.
Everyone masks affiliate links anyway. If you aren't then you're missing out on extra money to be made. Besides the only items I link to like are websites / programs etc. that I use now and highly recommend.
Thanks! I'm actually selling different color variants of the theme.
Just click the wordpress themes link at the top of the page.
