I wish I knew the answer to 'how long', if I had, would have gotten into domaining in 1998 instead of becoming a web publisher for the Indian market back then.

The fact that a lot of local companies use the .in is good insofar as that raises the public awareness and thus knowledge of .in

How long before this public knowledge actually translates into huge demand and thus high value for generics or geos, its anybody's guess. Just remember, .com took 15 yrs to get there. Plus it really didn't have much competition. The situation is totally different now, plus .in is a ccTLD.

It is appraised on $3300 by Estibot. I put it on Bido for tomorrow with BidoPrice of only $360.
Some ordinary .in domains are sold for $x.xxx on Sedo, do you think $360 is too low for such a cute short domain?

I have also seen Sedo showing lots of high price bids for some not-that-good .IN domains. But Bido has seen some really good .INs not even offered a single bid.

May be because low activity on Bido as compared to Sedo.

I regged H-O-T.in few days ago since the keyword 'HOT' and 'H-O-T' were returning same results :)
