Godaddy got me too.

I had:

Houston.me
NYC.me

Got confirmation email and everything. I stopped looking after that since i only wanted to get 2.

Then about 30 minutes later i got an email saying OOPS SORRY not yours.

I'm a tad pissed

I registered nyc.me around an hour ago at Godaddy. I don't know if I got it, but all my other .me's failed to register.

When Godaddy says they will credit your account, will they credit my bank account or just give me Godaddy account. If they try go give me Godaddy credit, I won't be very happy...

My experience today.
I purchased a .me domain with godaddy .....
Order processed and confirmation email sent through to my email.
However on godaddy whois search shows still available. On .me it shows as being registered to someone else.

Registered another with domainmonster, twice the price of godaddy... but my order went through straight away and its showing on both domainmonster and .me whois which I guess is the root.

After my experience I suggest if theres 1 .me you've got to have perhaps go with someone else such as DM and take the extra cost. As i've missed out on my surname by the looks of it....

Hope everyone elses experience is more positive
