May I ask MJB whether you had to provide a statement of what .me was and being used or did the end users recognise it? Asking this as I like to keep initial emails to end uses fairly brief but have not tried marketing my .me in this manner.

I can't say what domains were sold, but by emailing "endusers", what I meant was I sent out a mailing list to people who have bought domains from me on ebay in the past (about 100 people or so)... Then the same guy bought all 4 .me's from me....So, it wasn't sold on ebay technically, just to a former ebay buyer...

I also had one .me sale on SEDO, BTE.me for $100, but never received payment....I am actually glad, I would rather have the domain Bte.me than the $100....

Is anyone renewing their nnn.me domains? As a former enthusiastic .me domainer I seem to have ended up with a lot. And the renewals .. well you know that story. I would be interested to know the cheapest place to renew too. I get around 17$ as a GD reseller.

Anyway what do you all think about renewing names like these:

038.me
048.me
061.me
..

plus some nicer nnn.me and lots of lll.me , of course ..

I did sell a lot of my .me for cheap because of the high renewal fees.

I don't want to give advices because who knows what .me future really is, but in my case I decided to only keep the best of the best. I don't mind renewing those .me I kept for 10 years without a sale, if needed.

Again this is only my humble opinion, but I'm not a fan of CCC.me, except for the really good ones, like 123.me or a pronounceable LLL.me.

I've had some more nice dotme sales the past week, including implant.me and lawyers.me (each for xxxx) - I think Sedo will post these sales soon -- as I've decided to accept decent offers for dotme (or any domain, including dotcom) names I don't envision developing in the near future - in these cases, I'm sure I could have received more, but just did not want to negotiate, as they made their offers and seemed like very nice people - I wish them well --
sold another dotme for xxxxx, but this party wishes to keep the sale confidential, and it was premium Geo -- so Dotme is indeed a viable extension, friends --

Actually, no -- I'm not approaching anyone for selling domains -- but I have a pretty large portfolio of names that are parked and for sale on SEDO --

then I also get contacted by people whom do a WHOIS - and they contact me directly --

again, these were very nice people; they even made contributions to a charity Project Medishare that I'm supporting for the rescue efforts in Haiti

Most of my domain portfolio is DOTCOM, but I'm actually making decent monthly revenues off some DOTME parked names, which amazes.me
