Hi all

Nice to find a forum where there is a thread about .me domains.

For some reason I love them and have bought a few, not sure what it is about the .me extension but I just seem to keep buying them.

No offers yet but maybe in time, I ffel they are cheap enough to keep renewing until the right buyer come along if ever they do.

I don't understand that ".me Pre-Release Domain Names For Sale"! A lot of those names are expriring 2010-07-..., hydrate.me for example, and are owned by Synergy Domains Inc. I can garantee you that they won't let those domains expire!!

IMO, this sale looks like a "clearance sale" to me. I don't see any great domains in the list.

noticed the following after the Namejet .me auction - my non-English single keyword domains started getting more and more SEDO offer views. Anybody noticed the same with theirs?

I have noticed most interest in my 2 German .me listings (Handy and Bund) but SOME French and Italian keywords are also doing better - a few weeks ago there was virtually no interest in them.

Hope the trend will last.

BTW, anyone knows how share.me is doing in a Namejet re-auction?

Hmm...it's a pretty generic term, but some sort of recommendation engine would be ideal. The genericity of the name may haunt the scope of such a project, though.

BUY ONLY DOMAINS THAT HAVE A PRESENT TENSE VERB WORD....in other words, LOVE.ME is good but LOVES.ME is no good, it's past tense. WRITE.ME is good, WRITES.ME is no good. In most instances, the hottest domains in this area seem to follow this pattern (imo)

IF you have a plan to develop, like Mindless is doing, dot me is fine.
If you think you have a good keyword or a highly seacrhed word or phrase and expect people will buy it, it is a different story.
