Nice sites. But...
None of them have "privacy policy".

You must have it per Google's TOS

Here is simple privacy maker to make Google.

I unashamedly admit to mixing my pleasure of photography with my business of minisites. More pleasure than business I'm sure, I doubt I'll get many clicks since the ads don't target well for the keywords 'pictures of ice'. But I had to do it anyway.

I like your site. I can relate to a lot of it as I spent many years in northern Canada. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Rebuilt my reg appraisal site to get some Google ranking back. More content and information.

Site is not mine
That's funny, a site about making Privacy Policies and they don't have one of themselves

Are there certain requirements for different site types with use of affiliates, ads or no ads...
or does every site have to have one in place regardless of ads?

Adsense requires them, CJ requires them (or they did at one time - pretty certain they still do), so do certain individual programs.

If you're doing reviews/endorsements and you get compensated you need a disclosure statement - that's a new FTC requirement. (overview - http://www.ftc.gov/opa/2009/10/endortest.shtm; full text - http://www.ftc.gov/os/2009/10/091005...mentguides.pdf ) Not a bad idea to have one anyway regardless of whether or not you meet the exact conditions, because that's the direction things are going. Maybe these folks combined the two? I didn't bother to look ...

does anyone have any problem with duplicate content issues, if you have to write 200 privacy policies? or do you think google is turning a blind eye to apges called 'privacy policy'?

ps, bamboosword.com is a fast neat little site - i'd worry about lack of content on the 'store' page though, for adsense TOS....

Here is a link to a privacy policy builder. It takes about 5 seconds to generate one.

I started Cape Verde Islands Holidays about 5 weeks ago. It's been indexed by Yahoo and even by Bing, but not by Google. I've already put in a fair amount of work in it, as all the articles are mine and are original.

I've submitted to various social bookmarking sites, but nothing. Anyone have any idea on what else I could do to get this indexed by the big G?. Also any ideas on how to monetize this site besides adsense, which I have not put in yet because its not been idexed yet.

Add the Adsense , the indexing will then occur. Another way to assist the process off Indexing by "You-know-Who" is to post and link the site from a blogger blog. I have proven and used these methods for hundreds of my minisites. My record for indexing by "The big G" is 2 hours.

Give it a "noindex" in a robots meta. Not something you want indexed anyway.

Thanks for your advice. Will put adsense probably tomorrow and right now trying to find a name that Blogspot has available. Been at it for almost an hour and nothing that I want is available. Can I also add my own domain name without having the .Blogspot extension? Or is it not advisable?

GILSAN,

I've been away for a while (work has been killing me), but I come back and see that you are still building great sites. I have a few good keyword travel domains - what do you recommend for keyword travel domains?

Hope all is well.
